Tobi Mattingly (Music Director) has been an actor, director, and music director for twenty years, so it’s hard to believe she’s just now working with The Factory for the first time – but she’s thrilled to be here! As a music director, career highlights include guest conducting the Coro Nacional of the Dominican Republic at age 20, and conducting the Chicago Children’s Choir on the studio recording of the score for Shedd Aquarium’s acclaimed aquatic show One World. She’s also music directed five seasons of holiday shows and multiple gala events at Shedd, and many world premiere musicals at Quest Theatre Ensemble and elsewhere. She works regularly with youth, having served as a teaching artist for programs such as the Auditorium Theatre’s Too Hot To Handel outreach.
