Tim Newell (Clive/Foreman) Tim happily returns to The Factory, where he was last seen as Byron Berman in the runaway hit, BORN READY. Since moving to Chicago in August of 2015, Tim has appeared with The Profiles Theatre, in their seasonal hit, HELLCAB. His one-man show, Mr. Benny (about the life and times of the legendary comedian Jack Benny), received two successful runs at Clockwise Theatre in Jack’s hometown of Waukegan, and in July of 2016, the show was given two lovely performances at the Skokie Theatre. In addition to work in the theatre, he has done some background extra work on the hit FOX TV show, Empire. Other Chicago credits: Miss Holmes (Lifeline Theatre); BORN READY (Factory); The Heavens Are Hung in Black (Shattered Globe); In the Heat of the Night (Shattered Globe Theatre) and Where’s the Rest of Me? (A Red Orchid Theatre.) In 2012, he made his Midwestern/Chicago debut with SGT as William Cain, in Rebecca Lenkiewiczs’ Her Naked Skin. Some of his Buffalo credits include: Twelfth Night (playing Countess Olivia in an all-male cast), Henry V (Chorus); Hamlet (Polonius); Richard III (Richard); Much Ado About Nothing (Dogberry/Do John); As You Like It (Jaques); Julius Caesar (Cassius); (all for Shakespeare in Delaware Park), plus many, many more… He holds four Artvoice Artie Awards for his work as actor and director; and in 2011, Tim was named Best Actor in Western New York by Buffalo’s, Spree Magazine.
