Spenser Davis (Director) did not think he’d ever find himself directing some Chronicles of Narnia-meets-Bring It On knockoff, and yet… here we are. *sigh, knocks back drink* He’s an ensemble member of The Factory Theater, where he has worked on Zombie Broads and The Next Big Thing. This is his first time directing here, and he’s so glad to share it with you! He received the 2017 Jeff Award for Best Director/Play for his work on At The Table with Broken Nose Theatre, a show that was remounted, extended, and received 3 other Jeff Awards including Best Production/Play. Other directing credits include A Phase, From White Plains, and Bechdel Fest at Broken Nose; Bachelorette at Level 11; The Dictionary Project at Strawdog; FitzFest and Kafkapalooza at First Floor Theatre; and numerous editions of the One Minute Play Festival. Assistant directing credits include Pilgrim’s Progress and 3C at A Red Orchid; The Divine Sister at Hell in a Handbag. As a playwright, he was a finalist for the Actor Theater of Louisville’s Heideman Award, and his first full-length play Merge, about the rise and fall of the video game company Atari, closed The New Colony’s eighth season. He also works around town as an actor and producer. He currently serves as the Director of Programming for Broken Nose Theatre.
