The Factory Theater is proud to be one of the Chicago theaters who voluntarily participate in an initiative known as the Chicago Theater Standards project for non-equity theaters. The Standards contain pledges that we make to visiting artists. Among these is a welcoming environment free of harassment and discrimination, along with certain Safety and Respect assurances.
COVID-19
The following safety agreements were developed by The Factory Theater based upon current CDC guidelines, Actors Equity guidelines, and best practices. The Factory Theater will regularly check for CDC updates. These will adjust based upon new guidance from the CDC and mandates from local, state, and federal governments. We, The Factory Theater, agree to provide a space that limits the spread of Covid-19 by establishing reasonable precautionary measurements. To maintain this safe space:
- Our artists agree to follow these guidelines when they are contracted.
- Our patrons agree to follow these guidelines when they purchase their tickets.
