Ryan Lawrence is an award-winning magician with over twenty-five years of professional experience. He is a member of the Chicago Magic Round Table, the creative home for Chicago’s top sleight-of-hand artists. In 2018, he won the Chicago close-up magic competition, sponsored by the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Ryan is a regular performer at The Chicago Magic Lounge, a state-of-the-art magic theatre located at 5050 N. Clark Street.
Ryan is a member of the Society of American Magicians (SAM) and the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) where he is a recipient of the Wizard’s Award.
In addition to his engaging performances, Ryan has worked as a consultant for numerous theatre companies in the Chicago area and beyond. He has taught courses and workshops at Emerald City Children’s Theatre, The Second City Training Center and with Circesteem – Chicago’s Youth Circus.
