Anthony Tournis (Linus/Burl Ives) crash landed on Earth roughly 100,000 years ago. He was frozen in the ice of Antarctica and accidentally freed by the crew of Norway’s Thule Research Station in 1982. He was then forced to to move onto U.S. Outpost #31 in his attempt to escape to the mainland. Tournis seeks to absorb and assimilate nearby life forms.  He couldn’t do this without Stacie and Greer by his side.
