Brittney Brown (Assistant Director) is pumped to be back at Factory for May the Road Rise Up in a new role as Assistant Director! Recent credits include: Lucky: A Musical for the Chicago Musical Theatre Festival (Hazel), Factory Theater’s Darkness After Dawn (Aurora U/S) New American Folk Theatre’s Scraps (Scraps), Factory Theater’s Adventures of Spirit Force Five (Ensemble), Theo Ubique’s Sweeney Todd (Female Ens. U/S*), New American Folk Theatre’s Hot Pink or Ready to Blow (Tatanya), Kokandy Productions Bonnie and Clyde (Stella/Ensemble & Blanche Barrow U/S), Griffin Theatre’s Ragtime (Sarah’s Friend*/Harlem Female Ensemble U/S) & Violet (Lula/Almeta U/S*), Guys and Dolls (Miss Adelaide), Oklahoma! (Ado Annie), Hair (Dionne), Footloose (Rusty), & The Toxic Avenger (Mayor/Ma Ferd). She has also directed and music directed productions of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, [title of show], and Calvin Berger. Brittney is a proud alumnus of Millikin University’s Musical Theatre program and would like to thank her incredibly supportive friends and family, especially her mother, Shannon, and her best friends/roomies Travis & Shelby for constantly encouraging her to be herself and reach for the moon .
