Sonia Goldberg (she/they) is a performer, writer, educator, and a proud Chicago native, here to stay. She is thrilled to dip her toes into directing again, after assistant directing Pro-Am at First Floor Theatre last Fall (Jeff Award – Best Director & Best New Work). She frequently performs in the Chopin basement with Kokandy Productions, recent credits including their sold-out and extended production of Amélie, American Psycho (Jeff Award – Best Production) and Into the Woods (Jeff Award – Best Production & Best Ensemble). As a writer, her TYA choose-your-own-adventure play Think Fast, Jordan Chase! had its World Premiere in 2023 at Filament Theatre. Sonia was a finalist for Definition Theatre’s New Play Commission, Amplify (Series 4).
