Goldie McJohn is a playwright ready to quit the business. His wife is 8 months pregnant, he’s had moderate success, but not enough….Enter the prestigious Lawdy Mama Theater Company to offer him a slot in their upcoming season….if it is successful he gains a spot in the theater company. Sounds easy enough right? Well throw in a distraught company member who’ll stop at nothing to sabotage the show, not to mention some peculiar actors, an insane director and her two wacky cohorts, a power crazed restaurant owner, a mention of Shakespeare’s Scottish play and a Cesarean, and you have insanity unleashed….it’s Toast of the Town!!
