Holly (Thomas) Cerney (she/her) was born and raised in the Alaska wilds. Gradual domestication has continued since coming to Chicago over two decades ago. She has been a company member at Trap Door Theatre since 2004 where she has appeared in 17 productions, toured throughout Europe and the U.S.A, and was seen most recently in her Jeff Nominated role of “Best Performance in a Principal Role” as Mother Courage in the remount of their sold-out production of Mother Courage and her Children. Appearances on other stages with other fabulous Chicago companies through the years are numerous and appreciated including her previous journey with Factory Theater in 2005 as a science-driven stripper in Top Shelf. Holly daylights as an academic librarian at DePaul University and nightlights at home with three amazing humans.
