A Drink With…Robyn Coffin

Bartender, I’ll have a…Tito’s dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives.

I’m SURE you remember me from such Factory shows as…Easy Six, White Trash Wedding and a Funeral (Remount), Street Justice: Condition Red.

I got involved with the Factory because…Tim Amos asked me, while we were polishing silverware at our serving job together, if I was funny and wanted to audition for a show at The Factory. I IMMEDIATELY said yes. Colin called me the next day.

My current/next gig is…still doing Chicago Fire, have a new commercial for Hefty coming out, and will be appearing in a Haven Theatre production at Theater Wit called Don’t Go Gentle!

I give a shit about our move to Rogers Park because…It’s absofuckinglutely, goddamn, amaze balls awesomely amazing!!!! It’s truly something that we have wanted and worked towards and we’re fortunate enough to have it happening. RIGHT NOW! It’s cool to go back to the area where our roots were planted, now we can keep moving forward and become part of the new and exciting things happening in Rogers Park.

If I had to force you to listen to 2 albums, they would be…Jeff Buckley ‘Grace’ and Beck ‘Midnight Vultures’.

My favourite Factory memory is…Easter of 2011… we had a party…at The Prop, upstairs with lots of beers. So Lonely came on and every single person in the room, about 15, sang along complete with air guitar and drums.

I’m switching drinks, I’ll have a…Many glasses of Kim Crawford please!

This is Robyn. She is famous and still hangs out with us. She's also hilarious, fiercely talented, and makes a beautiful dirty martini. That's right: beautiful.
